Atelier des Mimes No. 5 • "persévérer"

Welcome to Atelier No. 5!

While the Ateliers in spring-time are dedicated to composition and performing - leading to the two Productions:

"Bar jeder Hoffnung" and "Clan Destin", the Ateliers in autumn - as No. 5 - are more focused on a technical training, shaping

and transforming our tools: our physical presence and our performer spirit.

The next Atelier des Mimes will take place from September to Christmas 2015

and will be separated into 2 blocks of 7 weeks:

• block 1: from Monday, August 31st to Thursday, October 15th (7 weeks) - then one week break -

• block 2: from Monday, October 26th to Thursday, December 10th (7 weeks)

each week from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 13:00 o'clock

There are 3 ways to participate in the Atelier...

the Atelier (block 1 & block 2)

• the full in-depth program.

• full blocks only • upon application and invitation only

• block 2 for anyone of block 1 or for advanced students

• Monday to Thursday • 9:00 to 13:00 o'clock • 16h/week inclusive ½h break per day

• the Atelier contains the Workshop and the open training

• €800 per block • €1500 for both blocks • €1300 for both blocks if paid in full by 1st of August 2015

the Workshop

• continuous training in the basics of physical theatre, very demanding.

• entry possible at the beginning of each week • only full weeks, at least 3 in a row • upon application

• Tuesday to Thursday • 9:00 to 11:00 o'clock • 6h/week

• €50 per week • €300 for 7 weeks of a block

open training

• basic training, to get inspired, to sweat. each time new and fresh.

• application requested but not required

• Thursdays • 9:00 to 11:00 o'clock

• €8 - €15 per session (pay what you can)

if you are very very committed, but your financial situation is too tight - and especially if you have participated in a former Atelier -

then please feel free to contact us anyway. Maybe we can find a solution suitable for all.

For an application for the Atelier, we kindly would like to ask you for a letter of motivation and/or for a short CV.

If we find you suitable for our enterprise, then we will ask you to confirm on some guidelines and agreements

and for some answers on some specific questions.
